What You’ll DoAs a Trading Analyst, you will work directly on one of Europe’s most dynamic and exciting trading floors, where over 100 Optiver traders manage their own books. You will analyse day-to-day trading performance, work on projects that optimise our strategies and pricing, and ensure trading sheets are well structured. All of this will take place in close collaboration with our Traders, Engineers and other Analysts who constantly invite you to challenge the status quo and propose areas of improvement.

You are welcome to participate in our ‘Trading for Non-Traders’ program, sign-up for Python and SQL courses after work, join the morning trading meetings and work on your personal effectiveness by participating in one of many courses our Learning & Development Department has on offer. About You- Currently situated and studying in the Netherlands, and eligible to work more than 16 hours per week
- University student in the 3rd year of your Bachelor’s, or 1st/2nd year of your Masters, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance or equivalent
- Experience with Matlab or Python (we are happy to train you further in SQL and Python)
- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Genuine interest in the financial markets
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
