ResponsibilitiesAs a Solution Architect for Cloud and DevOps you will guide clients in shaping their architecture, strategy and implementation. You will design solutions that bring business and technology together, ensuring that every choice supports long term goals as well as day to day delivery. Your role is to create clarity in complex environments, lead the conversation at the leadership table, and translate vision into actionable architecture. You set architectural direction, enable teams with the right practices and platforms, and make sure solutions are secure, scalable and built to last. In practice, this means:
- Leading the design of Cloud and DevOps architectures and roadmaps
- Advising executives and stakeholders on cloud adoption and DevOps strategy
- Translating business goals into secure, scalable and maintainable Azure based solutions
- Driving implementation together with technical teams and ensuring architectural quality
- Sharing best practices and thought leadership to accelerate client transformation
- Working closely with peers across domains to deliver integrated solutions
As a Solution Architect you combine technical expertise with the ability to guide people and decisions. You know how to connect business ambitions with cloud solutions and have the consulting skills to influence at every level.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Azure based architectures, ideally across PaaS services such as AKS, Service Bus, Cosmos DB and Logic Apps
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices with Azure DevOps and or GitHub
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM or Bicep
- Ability to engage with C level stakeholders and translate business goals into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead workshops and architectural discussions
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to share knowledge with peers and clients
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by leading at least two strategic client initiatives
- Deliver secure and scalable Azure landing zones and DevOps architectures that are in production use
- Facilitate workshops and C level sessions that influence client cloud and DevOps strategy
- Publish or present thought leadership that positions you and Xebia as experts in the Microsoft space
- Knowledge sharing at the core: From XMS every Tuesday to our Innovation Days four times a year, where you pitch ideas, build whatever you want, and showcase what you’ve created.
