As a Managing Consultant Finance & Risk at Firm C, you will:
- Lead and manage a team of experienced consultants in delivering complex Finance & Risk transformation projects for our clients.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to our clients' most pressing challenges, in close collaboration with their senior leadership teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, and serve as a trusted advisor on all aspects of Finance & Risk management.
- Play a key role in developing and implementing the firm's strategy, and in shaping our ambitious growth goals.
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, and help them to develop their skills and knowledge.
The role
As a Managing Consultant, you will be the most experienced and senior Finance & Risk professional on your team. You will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects, developing and implementing innovative solutions, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients at the executive level, and mentoring and coaching junior consultants.
You will need to have a deep understanding of Finance & Risk, as well as a proven track record of success in leading and managing complex projects. You must also be able to think strategically and creatively, and you must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
In addition to your client work, you will also have the opportunity to be creative and entrepreneurial, and to help shape the ambitious growth goals of the organization.
- University or HBO degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience. Experience with project management and/or consulting.
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: (regulatory) reporting, finance process improvement, risk management, compliance, data governance/management.
- Driven and enthusiastic: passion for making an impact at clients and hands-on mentality.
- A strong personality: you are confident enough to take a stand, but also to be vulnerable.
- You combine your strong interpersonal skills and leadership with a good sense of humor and perspective.
