Position: Compliance Officer Anti‑Bribery & Corruption (ABC)

This global role designs, implements, and enhances an ABC program that supports global operations and mitigates corruption risks. Collaboration is required with senior leaders, cross‑functional teams, and partners including joint ventures with varying governance structures.
Your Impact- Develop, update, and roll out global ABC policies, including: Code of Conduct, Anti‑Bribery & Corruption Policy, Conflicts of Interest, Gifts & Entertainment.
- Translate international laws and regulatory developments into clear, practical processes for all regions.
- Build and enhance compliance tools and systems, such as expense declaration platforms and monitoring controls.
- Design and deliver ABC trainings, with focus on higher‑risk markets.
- Drive awareness across the organization from operational teams to senior leadership.
- Promote consistent application of ethical standards across geographies.
- Oversee smaller partnerships and joint ventures, ensuring adherence to ABC expectations despite differing governance structures.
- Create and maintain effective internal controls for policy adherence across business lines.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for ABC topics, providing strategic and day‑to‑day advice to stakeholders globally.
- Partner with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, Operations, and commercial teams worldwide.
- Advise the business on strategic matters involving integrity and reputational risks.
- Contribute to strengthening a unified, future‑proof compliance culture.
- 5–10+ years of experience in ABC compliance, investigations, due diligence, policy development, or compliance monitoring.
- Proven experience within a large international corporate environment (essential).
- Strong understanding of international anti-bribery and anti‑corruption regulations, including EU frameworks.
- Experience with complex governance structures (e.g., joint ventures) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
- Ability to translate regulatory expectations into practical business processes.
- Strong analytical abilities, strategic mindset, and cultural sensitivity.

- This position is based either at our Rotterdam office (Blaak) or in Barcelona, with the base location aligned upfront and serving as your primary place of work while operating globally.
