For example, our digital portals and the NN app, the chatbot technology we are continuously developing and implementing, and building expertise like Research, UX Design and Data science throughout the company. Also, we're in the lead for an important part of the NL Strategy.
The Dutch NN organization is implementing a Target Operating Model to mitigate FEC risk through a centralized, 'NL team'. The FEC team coordinates the NL FEC organization across all Dutch Business Units of Nationale Nederlanden.
What you are going to do
The Dutch NN organization is implementing a Target Operating Model to mitigate FEC risk through a centralized, 'NL team'. Effectively managing FEC (Fraud and Economic Crime) requires accurate and up-to-date customer data to identify and mitigate risks in a timely manner. By having customer data in order, we can not only ensure compliance but also enhance the overall customer experience and better combat fraudulent activities.
As the Head of CDD, you will be leading the CDD domain, coordinate the NL FEC organization across all Dutch Business Units of Nationale Nederlanden and ensure the customer data meets the standards set. You will be supported by a central team with FEC expertise and data management expertise.
As the Head of CDD your responsibilities will be, amongst others:
- Coordinating all Business-Unit overarching FEC activities, leading and representing the Dutch FEC Community across Nationale Nederlanden
- Prioritizing and coordinating the change agenda: translating Business Unit requirements into actionable plans, assessing impacts, setting delivery priorities and driving timely implementation of new legislation, including the AMLR
- Owning the design and execution of shared FEC processes (i.e. Onboarding due diligence, ongoing due diligence and name screening), ensuring controls are implemented and validated
- Managing the central team responsible for Business Unit-overarching FEC and customer data activities and decision-making
- Overseeing the development and implementation of data analytics platforms with regard to Customer data to support business objectives
- Managing the customer data governance team, ensuring compliance with data quality standards and enhancing data management practices across the organization

In addition, you have:
- extensive experience in financial institutions, with a proven track record of delivery in complex environments, and have experience in the area of FEC and data management
- excellent stakeholder management skills, communication and influencing skills: you engage and persuade senior stakeholders, manage difficult conversations, resolve conflicting agendas and act as an effective escalation point and spokesperson
- You hold a relevant university degree (preferably a Master's in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration or similar), and are fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
Who you will work with
You will lead a small central team that combines deep FEC expertise with strong business insight and operational analysis. Additionally, you will regularly engage with a wide range of (senior) stakeholders across the organization.
Next to that you will lead the Customer Data Team (CUDAP) and the Customer Data Governance Team. The Customer Data Team oversees the management of analytical customer data, while the Customer Data Governance Team is accountable for establishing and maintaining customer data standards, ensuring data governance practices, and providing data quality reporting.
