As a Director in Financial Services team you are part of a rapidly growing practice. You play an important role in expanding existing client relationships and developing new client relationships. You are partly responsible for expanding the team and contribute significantly to the profitable growth of the practice.
In this role, you work in the Financial Services team and focus on helping banks, insurers and pension providers with their managed services needs across the board. Together with multidisciplinary teams, you solve complex transformation, regulatory and technology issues for clients, ensure proper implementation of laws and regulations, and respond to the accelerated shift in consumer demand and the increasing competition from disruptive players in the Financial Services domain.
What will you be doing?
- As the director of FS Finance Managed Services, you will lead a team of problem solvers with diverse backgrounds on every assignment to help resolve complex issues and challenges for clients in the pension, insurance, and banking sectors. You will actively be part of this team yourself;
- Collaboration is the key to success. Collaboration with other competencies within the Consulting team, such as People & Organization, Data Analytics, and Operations and Risk. But also collaboration with other parts of PwC such as the Deals practice and the actuaries. You are part of a broad international network and have access to all available knowledge to undertake yourself;
- You will be jointly responsible for building the Financial Services advisory practice. This includes acquiring projects and strengthening and expanding relationships with clients in the pension, insurance, and banking sectors;
- You will lead multiple projects and actively build multidisciplinary teams of passionate and skilled advisors as an entrepreneur;
- You know how to translate strategy and project management into execution: 'from strategy to execution.'
Does this describe you?
The successful candidate is strongly driven to further expand and grow the practice. The ideal candidate:
- Has relevant experience (>10 years) in a professional services firm or a notable industry player delivering managed services;
- Has delivered end to end managed services covering design, implementation and operations, and is able to lead client conversations on these phases;
- Has experience with the tech architecture of banking, insurers and pension providers and is aware of what is happening in the field of functionality, interfaces, data, and infrastructure as well as managed services and outsourcing operations;
- Has experience with the implementation of technological solutions and well able to further develop existing alliances with these parties and fulfill the role of business transformation partner at PwC's clients;
- Has solid experience with (digital) operating model transformations;
- Has a well-developed network at the executive level in the insurance and pension sectors and is aware of the challenges clients in those sectors face;
- Has proven to be a reliable advisor in the sector and brings important relationships from there;
- Is excellent at bridging the gap between technology and business through knowledge of financial services products, processes, and relevant laws and regulations, as well as hands?'on experience with improving IT architecture and implementing technology;
- Knowledge of data strategy, data architecture, and data management is desired, as well as knowledge in the field of operating model transformation.
