About the RoleThe energy transition has made life complex for producers, with assets now managed dynamically to balance the grid. Your mission is to cut through that complexity and create a journey defined by transparency, trust, and digital simplicity.
You’ll translate producer needs and business goals into clear product outcomes, evolving tools like Mijn Vandebron and improving billing and integration experiences. Essentially, you’ll be the connective tissue, ensuring a seamless and valuable producer journey across all touchpoints (Account Management, Producer Service, etc.).
Your work is central to retaining and empowering our producers, giving them the confidence and insights needed to thrive in this new reality, and ultimately, accelerating Vandebron’s mission to achieve 100% renewable energy.
What You’ll DoOwn and evolve the producer experience across Mijn Vandebron, the website, dashboards, and external APIs.
Work closely with Producer Service, Account Management, and Producer Brand & Marketing to translate producer feedback and business goals into actionable product improvements.
Define, prioritize, and deliver features that simplify complex producer interactions, such as onboarding, billing, and data visibility.
Align with Platform and Data teams to ensure reliable integrations between internal systems, APIs, and producer‑facing applications.
Monitor engagement KPIs (FTR Billing, Producer Cases, MijnVDB visits, Website traffic) and translate insights into measurable improvements.
Collaborate with Producer Brand & Marketing teams to ensure our digital tone of voice and content reflect Vandebron’s values and empower producers through clarity and trust.
Maintain structured documentation and roadmaps, ensuring alignment across teams and transparency in delivery.
Must haves
Understanding of energy, utilities, or B2B platform products.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data into product opportunities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable aligning diverse teams around a shared vision.
A strategic and collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering user‑centric value.
A proactive, structured approach to problem‑solving and prioritisation.
Empathy for both end‑users and internal teams, ensuring every product decision creates tangible improvement.
Nice to haves
Experience in Product Management or Product Ownership, in a digital experience or customer engagement domain.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Working experience with UI/UX.
