This is what you'll do
In this role, you will advise both national and international clients on a variety of commercial contracts and related matters. You will assist clients in drafting, structuring and negotiating a diverse range of commercial agreements, including transfer pricing agreements, license agreements, lease agreements, service agreements, general terms and conditions, and distribution agreements, delivering clear and pragmatic advice throughout the process. Closely collaborating with PwC firms abroad, you will work on various aspects of Dutch contract law and European legislation relevant to commercial matters in areas like sales, consumer protection, digital laws, IP, real estate and privacy. As a (Senior) Manager you:
- Lead a team of (senior) associates (and managers);
- Take responsibility for building and expanding your own client portfolio and advising clients-for example, advising on legal options, requirements and processes-and are responsible for drafting, negotiating and coordinating the relevant documentation;
- Collaborate with other teams within PwC Legal Business Solutions and PwC teams across other business units and Lines of Service (such as Tax, Advisory and Assurance) to deliver integrated solutions to our clients;
- Think strategically with (prospective) clients about current and future digital developments and the associated opportunities and risks in commercial contracts;
- Coach your team in their technical/legal and personal development;
- Are jointly responsible for further building and expanding our Commercial Contracting Law team;
- You actively use AI and other digital tools in your day-to-day work to enhance the quality, efficiency, and scalability of our services. You also take the lead in delivering substantial multidisciplinary projects within team settings.

And in addition:
- You hold a university master's degree (a Dutch law degree is a plus);
- You possess 6 + years of relevant legal experience, either as a lawyer at a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel with a large international organization;
- You have demonstrable experience with drafting, structuring, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts for a wide variety of clients;
- You have strong affinity with either digital law, IP or real estate;
- You're reliable, client-focused, commercially minded and skilled in relationship management;
- You're driven to find innovative solutions to clients' key challenges and to optimize and digitize our services, including using AI applications and tools in your day-to-day work;
- You write and speak English fluently; Dutch is a plus.
