De vacature

We are a tech startup - our software is at the heart of what we do. We are looking for a senior product-focussed full stack developer who doesn't mind learning new things and getting their hands dirty on any part of the stack. You have the experience to work directly with our CTO and take the lead brainstorming, planning and running tech initiatives within Pitchdrive. Our core technologies here are React and good ol' Ruby on Rails.

Your Day to Day

Crafting experiences our users will love: you'll be a driving part alongside our CTO of the entire development cycle, from research & gathering user feedback right through to designing solutions, implementing them in composable reusable components and publishing to our users. You'll be hands on building & reviewing our React frontend

Building out our data infrastructure: with such a small team you'll play a big role in shaping our backend operations and architecture. We are looking for people who are driven to learn our company's problem space inside out and think together about how we can solve these problems with tech. You'll be working on all parts of our Ruby on Rails & DevOps stack, with the freedom to introduce new processes

Big picture tech thinking: the code you write will help hundreds of tomorrow's most exciting startups get off the ground, but why stop there? You're encouraged to keep up-to-date on the wider field of tech (for example through events) and introduce new ideas and suggestions that could make Pitchdrive better.
