What are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated and committed Sales Executive who sees it as a challenge to make the sale a success. Your responsibility will be the sales and the penetration of the spectacle lens portfolio to the independent optical retail companies according to the commercial strategy of the company and increase the client list.

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Planning daily market visits to independent optical stores (clients) to increase sales by effectively communicating the advantages of Novax products and services valued by each customer.
  • Attraction and acquisition of new clients within the assigned region. 
  • Retention of the existing clients by building a win-win relationship.
  • Meet or exceed sales growth targets for Novax product portfolio, services, and other strategic targets in an assigned territory by initiating meetings with the decision-makers in independent optical stores. Introduce and sell products and services to ensure maximum penetration and growth, develop and implement sales strategies and programs to grow the business
  • Providing excellent customer service to the clients through routine visits, regular calls, follow up and ongoing contact to meet their requirements.
  • Segment and evaluate each independent optical store operation, financial data, business model & profit drivers, and create value-based sales strategies that have a positive financial impact on territory sales.
  • Conduct and prepare objectives, and anticipate likely objections from the clients; understand motivations and establish a relationship as a trusted advisor/consultant.
  • Treat territory as own franchise by creating and executing innovative tactical approaches to meet and exceed business objectives when faced with an obstacle or a customer concern.
  • Support and implement marketing plans, utilizing digital tools and apps.
  • Assist in the development of overall target market, customer segmentation, threats and opportunities for your region by gathering competitive data from the market; communicate findings and recommendations

After being present actively in 35 countries, now Novax is expanding its market to Benelux countries, beginning with the Netherlands. Our company Macula Optical will be the sole distributor or Novax lenses in the Benelux.


Requirements for the position are

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business related. Optician/Optometrist Degree is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in b2b sales position in the vision care (Rx lens sales) or the optical retail industry.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is a must. French or Turkish is a plus.
  • Strong social and communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mentality who can work independently, identify opportunities, take initiatives and work result-oriented to achieve the sales targets.
  • Competent with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.


  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business related. Optician/Optometrist Degree is an advantage.
