Your new role
As Demand Planner for the Benelux area you will be responsible for the demand planning of finished goods and accessories for all spares and accessories. You ensure forecasted parts are manufactured and supplied to the European warehouse so that orders are fulfilled for market operations and customers. You manage the order management team and report directly to the Operations Manager.
Tasks and responsibilities You are responsible for forecasting finished goods and accessories, collaborating with Internal teams such as Sales, Finance, Marketing, Commercial, and providing your own judgement knowledge and analysis to ensure the most accurate forecast is generated and maintained. Ensure that the volume in the forecast reflects the current business strategy plans so that product is available to meet sales requirements and the business can grow. Prevent over or under forecasting vs sales. Identify forecasting risks and opportunities, and raise them to local teams and MD.
Plan and have confidence in the execution of Phase in and Phase out planning of new and existing ranges. Provide Demand related information and analysis to the Market, Regional, and Group teams as required. Monitor current month sales performance. Challenge the sales teams where sales fall below the planned forecast, and to consume any excess stock. Lead and champion the local Demand Planning process and forecasting best practices. Attend Territory review meetings and discuss market challenges. Continuously strive to improve forecasting techniques, method and approach.
