Marketing Director (Amsterdam)

To accelerate our growth, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on Marketing Director who has successfully scaled an international e-commerce business. You will lead our marketing team and agencies, strengthen our brands globally, and drive growth across both B2C and B2B.

As Marketing Director, you will lead and professionalize all marketing activities across our gift card labels, both B2C and B2B, and play a key role in launching new labels and entering new markets.

You will work directly with Founder Loes Daniels and manage a marketing team consisting of content, SEO and paid specialists, supported by external agencies. You are responsible for building a scalable marketing engine with clear performance targets, strong brand positioning, and sustainable growth.

• Own and drive the full marketing strategy for Experiencegift and its international gift card brands

• Lead and optimize acquisition channels, with a strong focus on:

  • Paid marketing

  • SEO strategy and organic growth

  • Conversion optimization and funnel performance

• Strengthen and scale our branding and positioning across multiple markets

• Manage B2C and B2B marketing, including campaigns for corporate gifting

• Lead go-to-market strategies and launches for new labels and markets

• Manage and coach the internal marketing team and coordinate external agencies

• Set KPIs, dashboards and reporting structure to ensure performance and accountability

• Collaborate closely with multiple departments to drive company growth

• Proven experience as Marketing Director / Head of Marketing (or similar senior role)

• Strong track record in scaling an international e-commerce business

• Experience in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment (scale-up preferred)

• Expertise in:

  • E-commerce growth strategy

  • Paid marketing (SEA)

  • SEO

  • Branding and positioning

• Strong analytical and performance-driven mindset

• Hands-on mentality: strategic leadership + ability to execute

• Master’s degree level (WO)

• Fluent in English (required)

• A key leadership role in an international scale-up with ambitious growth plans

• Direct collaboration with the founder and high influence on company direction

• A strong and existing marketing team to build upon
