RoleWe're looking for an Engineering Lead to guide and grow our engineering team, set technical direction, and ensure our systems can scale with future demands. You'll combine leadership with deep technical expertise in cloud, data, and modern engineering practices. Working closely with Product and AI teams, you'll make strategic decisions that enable efficient development across products, ensuring long-term scalability and innovation.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead & Mentor: Coach engineers, foster a culture of ownership and innovation, and guide the team to deliver high-quality solutions at speed.
- Architect for Scale: Design and maintain a robust, cloud-native architecture that can support multiple products and evolving AI-driven features.
- Shape the AI-Native Product: Work closely with AI Engineers and Product Managers to ensure the new product is built on a solid technical foundation.
- Stay Hands-On: Contribute to code and architecture reviews, and step in for complex problem-solving where your expertise adds leverage.
- Drive Quality & Delivery: Champion CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and performance best practices to ensure reliable, scalable products.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Design, and AI teams to align technical decisions with business goals and customer needs.
- Full Stack Background: Strong technical expertise with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and modern frontend/backend frameworks.
- Cloud & Architecture: Deep experience with cloud-native systems (preferably GCP), containerization, and microservices.
- Data & Scalability: Strong understanding of data architecture, pipelines, and system scalability in distributed environments.
- Leadership: Proven experience guiding engineering teams, setting technical direction, and scaling both systems and teams.
- Strategic Thinking: You think beyond the immediate, aligning architecture and team decisions with long-term goals.
