Your day to day:
Take full responsibility for the condition, safety, and functionality of all hotel building, its facilities and equipment.
Manage a preventive maintenance program to ensure all systems and assets are properly maintained and operational.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, fire and life safety, and building safety regulations and standards.
Act as the responsible person for fire safety systems, inspections, documentation, and emergency procedures.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, minimizing risks related to accidents, hazards, theft, and system failures.
Support all departments to ensure fixtures, installations, and equipment are maintained to hotel standards.
Manage and lead the maintenance team, including work planning, task allocation, and performance development.
Control maintenance budgets, manage energy use, and oversee ordering of parts and supplies with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control.
Lead maintenance-related projects, renovations, and technical upgrades.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and compliance documentation.
Carry out ad-hoc duties as required to support hotel operations.
What we need from you:
Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch. Another language is always a plus.
Excellent time management & prioritization skills.
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
A hands-on mentality.
Work experience in a 4/5 star environment is a plus.
