As Duty Manager at Hotel 717, you will oversee and coordinate all operational activities during your assigned shift in our luxury boutique hotel. You will ensure that our high standards of guest service, historic-house ambience, and butler-led personalised experience are delivered consistently. You are the leadership point of contact on duty, ensuring the seamless running of guest services, staff coordination, safety, and the overall ambience of the hotel. You act as the primary point of contact, resolve issues promptly, and ensure all operational, safety, and service standards are maintained.Responsibility for others and oneself. You’re an example. Clear overview and awareness of priorities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations across departments during assigned shifts
Ensure high standards of customer service and address guest or client concerns efficiently
Monitor staff performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies
Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reports, and security checks
Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are followed at all times
Support staff training, motivation, and performance feedback
Communicate effectively with management about operational issues, incidents, or maintenance needs
Handle emergencies, complaints, and incidents with professionalism and authority
Maintain accurate records of shift activities and handover notes for the next shift
Requires flexibility and hands-on involvement in daily operations
Can adapt to a shift-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
