About the role

As Global Pre-sales Director for Electronics and Medical Industries, you will develop and drive the global pre-sale approach for the electronics and medical verticals with focus on the following 3 objectives:

Global accounts:

  • Develop and execute a global pre-sales approach to succeed better at global accounts and support for regions that don’t have the correct pre-sales competency and capacity

Business Enablement

  • Drive the enablement of pre-sales in the electronics and medical industry to scale the business by primarily focusing on high value based and complex solutions such as Closed Loop Manufacturing (CLM), Integration with other DI SW solutions and integration with automation ramping up knowledge in zones and key countries where it is missing, driving also a consistent approach

Portfolio & Strategy

  • Influence and contribute in the capacity as global pre-sales for the roadmap, feature development for global accounts and the electronics and medical strategy to substantially grow the business we achieve in these industries
This position can be based anywhere globally on the basis this is a position with a global remit.

Areas of responsibility

Global accounts:

  • Drive governance for global accounts to ensure HQ and regional sites are aligned with problem and solution statements
  • Drive workshops with these global accounts to understand their challenges and drive a prescriptive approach to position the value of our portfolio to them
  • Support regions that don’t have local pre-sales capacity or knowledge in these industries

Business Enablement

  • Drive a global pre-sales approach to the local pre-sales teams to ensure we use a consistent pre-sales approach worldwide
  • Drive enablement for pre-sales for high-value and yet complex solutions
  • Drive the creation of demos and campaign material together with the global PFD team
  • Support Learning & Development with consulting on what they need to prepare for successful training curriculums development

Portfolio & Strategy

  • Engage directly with the product management team to drive the needs for the industry and especially for the global customers
  • Contribute as a core member of the DM strategy team to lay out a plan to substantially grow the business within the next 3 years.
  • Support the industry team as an advisor for electronics and medical

Your qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree holder in Engineering or Information Technology
  • Experience working in the electronics and/ or medical industry
  • Working experience in driving pre-sales activities across global accounts ensuring global governance, preferably in a prescriptive sales approach
  • Extensive and proven Digital Manufacturing knowledge, especially in terms of value of solutions
  • Solution knowledge with Siemens solutions or competitive products
  • Experience in other Digital Industries Software solutions is of advantage
  • Basic knowledge on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions is a plus
