Microsoft Development Center Estonia, with Offices in Tallinn and Tartu, is part of the Experiences & Devices division within Microsoft and well known for its Skype history. Today, our focus is much broader: We are building the Intelligent Conversations & Communications Cloud (IC3) which powers communication services for millions of Microsoft customers around the world across products such as Skype, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Xbox, Windows, Azure and more. Our IC3 platform is one of the largest Azure deployments worldwide and growing rapidly. We own many large-scale applications in Estonia: from real-time communications, engineering systems to commerce, payments, anti-fraud and SMS. Together with partner teams across Microsoft we build and run an intelligent fabric of communication services to empower every person and organization to achieve more.
We develop highly scalable and reliable backend services running on Azure, supporting millions of Microsoft customers every day.
About the team:
Office 365 is expanding presence in Sovereign markets. Cyber-sovereignty is an emerging product area that reflects customer, and in particular government, demand for isolated and controlled cloud environments that continue to yield the manageability and feature benefits of the public cloud.Responsibilities
This Senior Product Manager role will help define, document and drive Office 365 Sovereign and Regulated cloud solutions. The position requires the ability to work independently, develop thought leadership and gain buy-in across stakeholders. A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment filled with ambiguity and competing demands.
You will gather underlying requirements, formulate objectives, and develop specs. You will be part of a cross-functional team leveraging Azure and Office to build the next generation cloud, extending investments in the world-wide public cloud.Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
· Broad understanding of Office 365 and Azure
