As a Data Science Quant, you sit at the intersection of trading expertise and data science. Your mission: to develop the next generation of trading logic, automation, and customer segmentation, enabling TOTO to operate smarter, faster, and more scalable.

This is a new, high-impact role that strengthens our Sportsbook operation through modelling, analytics and automation. You will work across both Retail and Online Sportsbook, building tools and systems that improve how markets are priced, how customers are segmented and how risk is managed. Your work contributes directly to operational scalability, regulatory transparency and long-term trading performance, supporting teams including Trading, BI, Compliance and Responsible Gaming.

Your key responsibilities:

• Build predictive pricing models for under-served or manually priced markets (e.g., player props in football and basketball, F1, niche specials).
• Automate manual workflows in trading to reduce error rates and save time (e.g., auto-pricing templates, feed gap coverage).
• Segment customers based on risk, behaviour, and value to improve trading controls, RG triggers, and personalisation.
• Design classification models to manage exposure based on competition profiles, volatility, and player types.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor market performance, detect anomalies, and provide real-time insights to BI, Trading, and Compliance.
• Support regulatory requirements with transparent, explainable models aligned to BKOA expectations (e.g., article 4.8 on pricing and risk justification).
• Act as a strategic bridge between Trading, BI, Product, Compliance, and Responsible Gaming, ensuring your work benefits multiple teams.

• 3–5+ years in data science, analytics, quantitative research, or trading analytics
• Experience in the betting, financial, or risk modelling domain is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical modelling frameworks
• Understanding of key Sportsbook KPIs (margin, GGR, exposure, hit rates)
• Experience building predictive models, dashboards, and automated tools
• Strong communication skills to align across technical and non-technical teams
• Fluency in Dutch and English

In your capacity as Data Science Quant we offer you:

• salary between €4.800,- and €6.800,- gross per month, depending on your experience.
• a full-time position for32 - 40 hours per week. 
• a bonus scheme.
