The Engineer position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods, and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
The Position
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with the engineering team to prepare, coordinate, and oversee customer orders within our high-tech production facility. Your responsibilities will include:
· Developing new CNC grinding machine programs and optimizing existing programs using advanced simulation software.
· Creating and maintaining work instructions, including defining production routing and processing sequences within the ERP system.
· Delivering internal training courses and technical workshops to colleagues across the organization.
· Preparing production drawings using specialized CAD software.
· Programming and maintaining CNC measuring machines.
· Providing technical support and expertise to application engineers.
· Supporting production colleagues with technical challenges and process-related questions.
· Collaborating with the Innovation department to support the development and continuous improvement of products.
· Identifying and implementing improvements in production techniques, manufacturing processes, and operational efficiency.

What you can bring
As an Engineer, you possess strong technical insight and work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. In addition, you bring:
· An MBO+ / HBO level of education and thinking, preferably with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering.
· Experience in work planning, production preparation, and the coordination and monitoring of manufacturing processes.
· A strong affinity with industrial and high-tech production environments.
· The ambition and drive to contribute to the development of new products, manufacturing technologies, and production processes.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into efficient production methods.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across Engineering, Production, and Innovation teams.
