Omschrijving functie werkzaamheden Senior Content ManagerThis is a creative and production leadership role for someone who knows how to make great content and get it over the line. As Senior Content Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind video content for our client. We want you to keep the team aligned, the standards high, and help our local crews deliver the stories worth telling. Working closely with the Executive Producer, you’ll shape how local football culture and community comes to life on screen. This means being as comfortable in a story meeting as you are managing a shoot day, and knowing what it takes to consistently deliver at the highest level.
What You’ll Be Doing Creative Leadership- Lead overarching production of live and non-live content across the project.
- Give clear, actionable feedback to producers and editors so every piece of content lands on-brand and on-brief.
- Oversight of feature, broadcast, and partnership content from concept through to delivery.
- Use data to track what’s working and shape weekly content plans that keep pushing the work forward.
- Build and present production pitch decks and presentations for senior leadership sign‑off.
- Act as internal Line Producer across multiple projects for a single client, keeping everything on schedule and on budget.
- Manage and coordinate the daily workload of employees and freelancers.
- Handle production planning end-to-end: scheduling, shoot planning, and on-site execution.
- Work with the production coordinator on travel and logistics for shooters, editors, and production crews.
- Oversee talent booking for on-camera productions.
- Direct and support two producers, production coordinator, freelance videographers, and internal post-production teams, giving guidance on priorities, workload and creative development.
- Build a collaborative, solution driven culture where high-quality output is the standard, not the exception.
- Own relationships across internal and external stakeholders, keeping communication tight and trust high.
- 7+ years in live and non-live content production within the sports industry.
- Proven end-to-end video production experience, from pre-production through post.
- Strong creative instincts and the confidence to give feedback that actually makes the work better.
- Comfortable running multiple projects at once without dropping the ball.
- Sharp organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays when the content calendar demands it.
- Unrestricted rights to work across Europe (Amsterdam-based preferred)
- Remote production experience.
- European football knowledge.
- Spanish and/or French language skills
- Adobe Creative Suite skills.
