The Role
The SAP PPDS Consultant is expected to perform high-quality project work for our customers, continue to build the Connected Logistics capability in North America, and foster its continued growth within our SDE service unit. This role requires a focused and analytical mindset and will require working towards set objectives with a level of autonomy, living a culture of accountability, and taking a hands-on approach to execution. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. With this in mind, this person will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers as well as support new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Being committed to advising and designing innovative and holistic production planning processes with a focus on transportation in SAP PPDS
- Your strengths also include adjustments to the system landscape using customizing
- Together with your team, you are the first contact person for users and key users in the SAP PPDS environment.
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of training courses and workshops
- Participate in exciting production projects from cost calculation to implementation
- Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions in the field of Supply Chain Management
- Deploy process, quality, and cost-optimized logistics concepts
- Create long term relationships with clients
- Identify and lead business development opportunities
- Achieve a strong reputation as a business advisor
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education.
Experience:
- 4+ years of work experience in consulting or in the automotive industry
- Minimum 4 years of SAP PPDS (Production Planning Detailed Scheduling) Experience (Process & Customizing)
- Minimum 3 full SAP PPDS lifecycle implementations
- Profound SAP PPDS project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)
- SAP Certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)
- Professional appearance with strong customer focus
