Tasks

• Manages month-end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting, including revenue recognition, expense analysis, and balance sheet account balance changes.
• Reconciles all P&L entries, monitoring variances from plan to accurately prepare monthly reporting package while able to explain variances from budget or forecast.
• Monitors existing reports for accuracy, analyzes the data, and identifies the need for new financial reports for senior leadership and answers any financial related questions.
• Mentors and coaches Finance & Controlling accountants, contractors, and/or interns regarding policies, processes, and controls as they pertain to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cashflow.
• Manages client invoicing and receivable collection and uses that information to create rolling cashflow forecasts.
• Leads the organization on the end-to-end Procurement process.
• Assists in the preparation of financial presentations for management including the Shareholders Committee meeting materials.
• Supports the organization properly report out of state/country tax withholding in the payroll system.
• Performs balance sheet account reconciliations and creates and monitors assets.
• Acts as lead support for the year-end audit, and any other internal or external audits.
• Supports the development, enforcement, and updates to local compliance directives.
• Assists in monitoring compliance of management rules and internal control policies.
• Responsible for the proper usage, awareness and compliance with IT security policies at Porsche.
• Seeks to ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic format.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years corporate experience; emphasis in finance and/or accountingo
• 5+ years accounting and/or financial planning & analysis experience (or equivalent) requiredo
• Audit and compliance experience a pluso
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel; Proficient with PowerPointo
• Knowledge of ERP systems preferred (e.g. SAP)

Skills:

• CPA requiredo
• Ability to use basic financial management tools and conceptso
• Financial modeling and forecastingo
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principals
