A fantastic opportunity has become available for a caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Newham. This full-time role is available for a September start and offers a competitive daily rate of £95 to £110, depending on experience.

The Role - 1:1 Teaching Assistant
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies that meet the child's individual needs.

The successful candidate will support the pupil both inside and outside the classroom, encourage engagement in learning, promote independence, and help develop their social and emotional skills. You will also assist with implementing personalised interventions and behaviour strategies where required.

Strong communication skills, patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach are essential for this role. Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a primary school setting is highly desirable.
