Courier Parcels Nieuw-Vennep

As a courier at DHL Express in Nieuw-Vennep, you start your shift at the depot. You check your van, scan your parcels and load everything in a logical order, so your day runs smoothly. Then you head out on your mostly fixed route in the region, where you quickly get to know the streets and regular customers. During the day you follow your navigation, deliver and pick up parcels, handle signatures and have short, friendly contact at the door. Your shifts are scheduled between 08:00 and 19:00, so you can plan your work around lectures, exams and your social life.
What your day looks like:
- You start at the depot, check your van and load all parcels safely and in a logical order.
- You drive your mostly fixed route in the region, using the navigation system to plan your stops efficiently.
- You deliver and pick up parcels on time, lifting and handling them in a safe and careful way.
- You are the face of DHL Express at the door, greeting customers, answering simple questions and handling signatures.
- You work with a hand scanner, follow traffic and safety rules and keep your delivery administration up to date.
- Earn an hourly wage of €16.60, with extra flex budget of 6.24% on top of your salary.
- Choose yourself whether you receive your salary weekly or every four weeks, whatever suits your planning best.
- Work a flexible week of 24–32 hours, with shifts scheduled between 08:00 and 19:00
- Build up 8% holiday allowance, so you can enjoy your time off without financial worries.
- Receive travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre for your commute to Nieuw-Vennep.
- Start with a temporary contract, with the prospect of a permanent one when things go well for both.

You are a dependable, service-minded courier who likes working independently while keeping a good balance with your study and social life.
- Je hebt a valid B driving licence for two years.
- Je bent physically fit and comfortable lifting parcels repeatedly.
- Je bent available at least three fixed days per week.
- Je hebt good spoken Dutch or English communication skills.
