Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport is a business-focused hotel located just ten minutes from Schiphol Airport and 25 minutes from Amsterdam city centre. The hotel primarily caters to business guests, touring groups, (stranded) Schiphol travellers, multi-day event attendees, and some leisure travellers. Facilities include a contemporary brasserie, stylish bar, and inviting lounge.We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commis de Cuisine who is eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment. This is a 0-hour contract, ideal for someone seeking flexibility and hands-on experience in hospitality. Some kitchen experience is appreciated, but not required - a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.

What you'll do:
- Assist in food preparation and production, ensuring quality, freshness, and hygiene standards.
- Support buffet and group meal preparation, as well as à la carte service when needed.
- Learn presentation techniques, safe equipment usage, and food safety procedures.
- Adapt to different areas of the kitchen and hotel outlets based on business needs.
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues, with attention to detail and personalised service.
- Genuine interest in cooking and working in a team.
- Flexible availability and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Positive attitude, motivation, and eagerness to learn.
- Effective communication skills with colleagues and guests.
- Ability to commute independently to the hotel (located outside Amsterdam city centre).
