For the Dutch entity of an international holding located in Amstelveen, we are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist (m/f/x). The group operates globally across various sectors including mining, construction, energy, and shipping. The local finance team in Amstelveen plays a key role in managing the accounting and reporting activities for a broad portfolio of entities within the group.
As an Accounting Specialist (m/f/x) based in Amstelveen, you will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager and take ownership of the day-to-day accounting and month-end close for multiple companies.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all accounting entries are accurate and maintain daily financial documentation
Prepare and support statutory filings
Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash processes
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual Dutch financial reporting
Adhere to internal accounting procedures and safeguard financial integrity
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Fluency in English is sufficient
Solid knowledge of Dutch GAAP is essential
Able to independently draft financial statements
Gross annual salary between €60,000 and €75,000 based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience and education
