Who you are
As a Team Leader in Customer Fulfilment, you help ensure that every day we're ready to open a well-stocked store. In this role, you balance operational tasks, strategic oversight, and visible leadership of your team, while collaborating across functions at IKEA Aalborg. You motivate your co-workers and make sure they always perform their tasks efficiently and in accordance with safety regulations. Additionally, you thrive on analyzing and optimizing product placement in close collaboration with other leaders - and you find it exciting to drive improvements that make a real difference in everyday operations.To succeed in this role, it's important that you:
• Have at least 1-2 years of leadership experience
• Can communicate fluently in Danish and/or English, both written and spoken
• Have experience building structure in a busy and ever-changing environment
• Are skilled at spotting opportunities and finding solutions to various challenges
It's an advantage if you have experience in retail or logistics. A forklift license and experience with forklift driving are also beneficial, but not required.
Your responsibilities
• Development and optimization of workflows and processes within the department • Development and leadership of your team of 10-15 co-workers• Ensuring we meet our core operational tasks every day
• Contributing to a strong commercial performance in our Self-Serve warehouse
• Making sure your department is always up to date with IKEA's current safety regulations
• Focus on key performance indicators such as damaged goods and number of handlings
• Focus on employee well-being, sick leave, and staff turnover

In logistics, we have the greatest indirect impact on sales. We are the ones who ensure that our logistics operation runs efficiently at the lowest possible cost. To secure the right product availability, we must be proactive with our warehouse systems, which communicate across our entire supply chain. Our work primarily focuses on replenishment early in the morning, as we need to be ready to open our doors at 10:00 every day for our dear customers. Other informations
• The position is full-time (37+ hours per week) on an individual contract, with additional and overtime hours included in the salary• Working hours are scheduled between 06:00-16:00, Monday to Sunday, with weekend shifts every third weekend
• You will be part of a duty roster that includes both staffing and responsibility hours, and you will also plan your own working hours according to the needs of the business
• Salary based on qualifications and in accordance with IKEA's salary policy
