Wat je gaat doen As a Logistics Team Leader at GEODIS, you are responsible for making sure the flow of goods runs smoothly and efficiently. You make sure the work is done according to the agreed planning and quality standards. You also help create a safe and positive working environment for your team.

You will give daily guidance to 20 to 25 warehouse employees. Together with other team leaders, you will manage the daily operation. You will work flexible day shifts between 06:00 and 18:00 and report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Your main tasks include:

• Leading, supporting and motivating 20 to 25 employees;
• Monitoring quality, safety and progress;
• Coordinating daily warehouse activities;
• Identifying and solving problems in the operation;
• Making sure working hours are registered correctly;
• Thinking about improvements to the warehouse and WMS system;
• Working together with and reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor;
• Helping improve logistics processes.

Functie-eisen For this position, we are looking for someone with logistics experience who is ready to take responsibility within the warehouse.

You have:

• MBO level of working and thinking, gained through education or experience;
• Knowledge of and experience in logistics;
• Experience with warehouse management systems;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Good organizational and communication skills;
• Good command of Dutch and English and/or German;
• A flexible and responsible attitude;
• The ability to instruct, motivate and support employees.

Do you not have many years of experience as a team leader yet? If you have completed a Logistics Management education and have a few years of experience in a logistics environment, this position can also be a great next step in your career.
