At the Radisson Blu Hotel, Amsterdam City Center we stand out together as one team and make memorable moments for our guests. Our receptionists portray true hotelier hospitality, and are pro-active in building meaningful relationships. As a Receptionist you provide a warm welcome to all our guests whilst offering assistance throughout their entire hotel experience. Exceeding their expectations is your focus! You are responsible for handling arrivals and departures, performing financial transactions, ensuring efficient and friendly services to our guests and performing all kinds of administrative tasks. In short: a job with recurring daily tasks yet a different daily dynamic.
A warm welcome, a happy smile, a positive Yes I Can! attitude and a natural host. Our receptionists are the inspirational face of our hotels, and they know that our guests are number one.
Your key Responsibilities:

Participates in the prompt and courteous check in and check out of guests

Responds to guest requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings

Arranges for special services requested by the guest
We are looking for you if you:
-
Are an excellent team player with strong communication skills, you will have a passion for delivering a great customer experience;

Have degree in Hotel management or related other studies;
-
Have a minimum of one year experience within the Front Office department in the role of Receptionist, supervisor or comparable;

See it as a positive challenge to work with different IT and software systems;
-
Have an excellent working knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing; the more languages you master, the better!;

Are determined and a real team player;

Live in Amsterdam or region;

Are able to work during the day, evening and weekend
A Front Office representative should - óbviously - also be passionate about people, hospitality and delivering personalized "Yes I Can!" service that leaves a sparkling first impression.

Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam City Center offers 252 luxurious guest rooms, Restaurant De Palmboom and the Pastorie Bar. Other facilities include a fitness area and various meeting rooms for gatherings and conferences for up to 200 guests.
