We are now looking for a position managing global spare parts deliveries. The role is permanent, located in Kampen, The Netherlands.
What you will be doingThe position of Site Manager, Distribution Center in Kampen (CDC) is responsible for the overall management of the CDC Kampen site, ensuring it is fully operational and managing our partners for warehousing as well as facility management. The role is key for our operations in CDC and is measured through various KPIs in place for CDC warehousing and facility, such as On‑Time Packing, Stock Accuracy, and Uptime of Automation. In addition to working with external partners, this position will also work with internal stakeholders, both directly reporting into this position and through cooperation with other managers. As Site Manager, this position will also support both internal and external customer visits as well as maintain a good relationship with local authorities.
As Site Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:- Lead, manage and report the status of warehouse‑ and facility‑related activities.
- Ensure that CDC Kampen operations are performed safely, efficiently and with high quality, with a focus on own responsibility area whilst supporting colleagues where needed.
- Define and implement initiatives and new practices to drive continuous improvement. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning on‑site, encouraging innovation and problem‑solving.
- Collaborate and act as the primary connector between the wider organisation and stakeholders of CDC Kampen. Ensure shared awareness and alignment of site activities with overall timelines and business objectives.
- Define and implement site policies, guidelines, and standards to ensure a safe working environment and good operational performance. Ensure compliance with regulations and company guidelines such as HSE and quality standards.
- Support internal and external communication in line with company policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English as well as Dutch.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent team‑building skills, both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on‑site in CDC Kampen on a full‑time basis.
- Strong knowledge of contract and agreement management.
- Business and managerial orientation.
- More than 5 years’ experience working in an international business environment.
- Logistics and warehouse management experience is highly desirable.
