Your purpose
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager of Spectrum**, the acclaimed two-Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam, you play a pivotal role in orchestrating an unparalleled dining experience. Working under the visionary leadership of Chef Sidney Schutte, Chef Danny Spoel and Restaurant Manager Cas Kratz, you are the conductor of service, ensuring seamless coordination and impeccable execution in our dynamic gastronomic haven. Your purpose is to elevate guest interactions to an art form, embodying the essence of Dutch hospitality while guiding patrons through an exquisite culinary journey that defines Spectrum's commitment to excellence.
What will I be doing?
We are currently looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager. Within this position your main tasks will be:
Create an inviting atmosphere by warmly welcoming guests with genuine enthusiasm and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Collaborate seamlessly with the team, fostering a dynamic and supportive environment to collectively achieve service excellence and surpass goals.
Master the art of taking and delivering guests orders with finesse, consistently exceeding expectations in customer service.
Showcase meticulous attention to detail by flawlessly preparing table setups that reflect the high standards of Spectrum's Michelin-starred dining.
Demonstrate agility in addressing guest queries, offering timely and knowledgeable responses to enhance overall satisfaction.
Actively promote the latest departmental incentives, leveraging upselling techniques to maximize guest engagement and revenue.
Dedicate efforts towards achieving ambitious departmental targets, contributing to the restaurant's overall success.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness in work areas, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the dining environment.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person to strengthen our young and vibrant team, someone who is willing to strive for perfection and do so with passion and enthusiasm. Required skills, attitude and knowledge are:
- Service oriented.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Positive and friendly attitude towards our guests and fellow team members.
- Helpful and pro-active.
- Good knowledge of English.
