About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Front Office Agent Intern in the heart of Amsterdam, Netherlands! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with a hospitality DNA eager to kick-start their career in the hospitality industry. As a Front Office Agent Intern, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their stay is nothing short of exceptional from check-in to check-out.
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
Assist with room reservations and modifications
Handle basic administrative tasks, including data entry and report generation
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Learn and operate hotel management software systems
Assist in handling guest complaints and escalate when necessary
Currently pursuing an MBO or HBO degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field (the internship needs to be a mandatory part of your program)
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional attitude
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office suite
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Basic understanding of hotel operations is a plus
Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or other languages is an advantage
Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the hospitality industry
