The OpportunityAs we prepare for rapid international expansion into the UK, US, and other markets, our platform must scale to support multi-region operations, complex compliance requirements, and high-volume usage. To drive this evolution, we're looking for an experienced Java Engineer to ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced, Agile, and international environment.
Your Responsibilities- Be part of the development of scalable Java-based backend services.
- Develop automation and integrations to streamline onboarding and operations worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure system stability.
- Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Vacation pay and days off - 8.33% vacation pay and 27 days off per year based on full-time employment.
- Hybrid working - 60/40 split: three days in office, two days working from home.

- Solid understanding of backend (Java 21, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
- Strong commitment to both high-quality, maintainable code and effective delivery.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, monorepo architecture, and cloud services.
- Familiarity with databases and data integration techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
