TGSS is a suite of software applications supporting satellite manufacturers and operators. They support customers for testing during the AIT phase until launch (functional and thermal testing) and for operating spacecrafts (Flight dynamics, mission planning, orbit visualization, large data analysis, mission control, etc.).
As part of our Center of Excellence, we are looking for a Solution Architect to become a key member of the team, leading the TGSS technical solution in all its phases.
The Center of Excellence accompanies customers in their project from the design of solutions adapted to their needs, their delivery, installation, the training of personnel using the solutions and as part of the maintenance until project end. The center of Excellence works in close cooperation with the R&D and sales departments to ensure a complete communication loop from the customer to the software developer who will code the required software capability.
TasksAfter an initial phase-in period to acquire an in-depth knowledge within Terma Group activities, your tasks for supporting the Ground Systems Business Development area will mainly include, but not limited to:
- Understand customer needs and generate the necessary user requirements using current portfolio of products across the entire Space business area.
- Interface with customers to propose during pre-sales activities a solution according to their needs in coordination with the bid manager (proposal technical lead)
- Bridge customer requirements with the current solution and be the advocate both internal and for the customer
- Interface with the R&D department (product owners) and within the center of excellence to convert the solution into development and assembly/testing activities, in coordination with the PM and the local head of R&D.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Space Operations (System Engineering, Ground Operations Engineering) with knowledge of OpsPrep.
The candidate will have as many competencies as possible from the list below (order is random):
- Experience in operations from the development perspective
- Experience in operations as operator for a spacecraft or mission
- System knowledge of spacecrafts and their components
- System knowledge of satellite communication between ground station and spacecraft
- System knowledge of satellite navigation
Some experience within spacecraft AIT field would be appreciated.
