And as the R&D Quality MOS Lead you will be driving continuous improvement and standardization within our Manufacturing network as part of JDE’s Global Pillar organization. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:
- The development and implementation of quality & food safety standards for the JDE Global Manufacturing Continuous Improvement program
- Manage the training on MOS tools and standards for Manufacturing sites and key stakeholders
- Benchmarking plant performance with regards to quality deliverables and proactively identifying areas for improvement will be a crucial part of your role
- Fostering an improvement, zero defect mindset and proactive food safety quality culture within the company
- Interacting across the supply chain, internal and external to JDE you will need to collaborate and influence key stakeholders at different levels of the organization
- Building robust relationships with all relevant business partners inside and outside R&D, including Operations, and Procurement
- Lead projects linked to improvement and standardization including technology and digital applications
- Traveling between various manufacturing locations for 30 to 40% of the time
The opportunity:
- In this position you will be responsible for the development and implementation of JDE Quality Continuous Improvement (MOS) standards.
- You will train others to develop the knowledge and competency of the factory teams to eliminate quality losses.
- In the role you will strengthen your assessment skills with visits to the factories globally.
- You will engage with senior leaders in Operations and R&D Quality to share the impact of improvements on results.
- We are looking for a pioneer with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility.
- Given the nature of the role we feel it’s important for you to have at least 4 years of experience in the field
- Experience in a multi-cultural manufacturing environment.
- Kwoledge of SAP, Manufacturing systems and digital management systems.
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Engineering, Food Science or Nutrition
- Applied knowledge of quality and food safety standards & practices (ISO / FSSC 22000, IFS, HACCP), and Manufacturing Excellence such as TPM or Lean Six Sigma
- Ability to perform effective risk assessment and evaluate impact to business
