De Plesman is based in a historic monument, and is currently transformed into a brand-new lifestyle hospitality concept. All the (wonderful - if we can say so) basics are there: an astonishing monumental building, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. But de Plesman is not your regular hotel, we do things differently around here.
So.. What is different you ask? We are bold. We are looking for someone who wants to evolve hospitality together with us. We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, and hence we are looking for you to set up and run the financial operation of our various F&B outlets.

What will you be doing?
● Managing and maintaining all technical installations and systems within the hotel.
● Planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance with your team.
● Supervising and developing the technical team.
● Developing maintenance plans and budgets, and ensuring compliance with them.
● Ensuring compliance with safety standards, fire safety, and regulations.
● Assessing whether a malfunction can be resolved internally or requires an external company.
● Negotiating and maintaining service level agreements and contracts.
● Managing the costs of the technical department and overseeing the proper use of materials and maintaining inventory.
● Responsible for the successful handover of the completed building project.
● Responsible for the landscaping and maintaining the plants throughout the building.
Small print:
● Bachelor's degree level of education, preferably in a technical field.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
● Excellent leadership and communication skills.
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
● Experience with budget management and project management.
● Hands-on mentality, willing to get involved in problem-solving.
● Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
