THE POSITION
As an All-round Front Office & F&B Team Member, you’ll play a key role in making every guest feel at home; from check-in to breakfast and everything in between.
Are you an early bird? Then you’ll be the smiling face that welcomes our guests in the morning and ensures they start their day right with a great breakfast. Prefer something more dynamic? You’ll also have the chance to develop your skills behind the bar — from crafting great coffee to serving refreshing drinks.
You’ll support both our Front Office and Food & Beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and genuine guest connections throughout the day. Every moment is a chance to create a memorable experience, and that’s exactly what you love to do!
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Together with your colleagues, you ensure consistently high service quality;
Prepare everything needed for a smooth and successful service;
Advise guests with enthusiasm about our dishes, wines, and cocktails;
Deliver a 9 or 10 experience through your personal and genuine service during breakfast, lunch, or dinner;
Go the extra mile to create an unforgettable stay for every guest;
Follow the Standard Operating Procedures of Holiday Inn Express Almere;
Stay up to date on all F&B standards, presentation, service, products, and hygiene regulations.
You do the check in & out of the guests
You ensure that the guests feel welcome when entering the hotel.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Do you enjoy creating memorable guest experiences and want to learn more about the diversity and story of our hotel? We’re looking for someone who:
Has a passion for hospitality and hotel service;
Is eager to learn, quick to adapt, and knows how to apply new knowledge;
Has an open, friendly, and guest-focused attitude;
Pays attention to detail — in products, service, and teamwork;
Brings some experience or wine knowledge (a plus, not a must!);
Speaks both Dutch and English;
Is enthusiastic, flexible, well-presented, and a true team player.
