De Plesman opened its doors in March 2025 and has already earned a Michelin Key (which we’re secretly very proud of). We're a boutique hotel located in the former KLM headquarters in The Hague, honouring aviation pioneer Albert Plesman. The building’s history is reflected in every detail, from its architecture to its hospitality. Guests can enjoy an amazing dinner at Restaurant Suus, named after Plesman’s wife, or unwind at Albert Bar, named after Albert Plesman himself. A dynamic spot between the dunes and the city where The Hague’s heritage comes to life.

What will you be doing?
● You will oversee the planning, organization and successful execution of meetings, conferences and events within the hotel. Ensuring all operations run smoothly and meet the highest service standards.
● You will manage and supervise group bookings from inquiry to completion, including reviewing proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring all arrangements align with guest expectations and hotel objectives.
● You will act as a key contact for clients and event organizers, ensuring exceptional guest experiences by proactively addressing requests, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
● You will guide, support, and develop the Groups & Events team, ensuring efficient workflows, high performance and excellent service delivery.
● Guest Interaction and Support During Events: You will help guests during their event, offering support and solutions for any questions or challenges that may arise.
● Collaboration with Other Departments: To guarantee the highest quality of service, you work closely with teams such as reception, food & beverage, and housekeeping.
● Administration and Aftersales: You will oversee administrative processes related to group and event bookings, monitor performance metrics, and ensure proper follow-up with clients, including feedback analysis to continuously improve service quality.
Small print:
● You have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. You’ll be on top of our list if you gained this experience at a 4/5-star hotel.
● You have a knowledge of all Meeting , Groups & Events services and products.
● Your native language is Dutch, it’s a plus if you speak strong English
● You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
