What will you be doing?
You are the enthusiastic team member who thrives on providing guests with the perfect drink they’re craving and effortlessly upselling a delicious snack to go with it. You understand that when guests use a meeting room, it should be spotless, and you make sure to check if the used coffee capsules have been removed from the machine. And during a large dinner service, you know exactly what needs to be done.
In addition, you have no problem supporting your colleagues behind the bar and are always ready to lend a helping hand. There are plenty of opportunities and a variety of tasks, ensuring there’s always something that suits you!
Where will you be doing this?
In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you’ll find one of the city’s most iconic five-star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Conveniently located just 500 meters from Amsterdam Central Station and easily accessible from the highway, it’s a prime destination.

Your qualifications
You are a real host/hostess who can offer guests an unforgettable service.
Flexible with working hours, even when your shift runs a bit later than expected.
It is useful that you live in or around Amsterdam.
Relevant experience is always useful but not necessary, our team can teach you everything.
You have a good command of Dutch and/or English. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!
What do we offer you?
An uplifting position of 38 hours in the heart of Amsterdam.
A salary in accordance with the Hospitality collective labor agreement, 2505,04 EUR to 2658,37 EUR (or mention Reference position xx), based on a full-time contract of 38 hours and depending on your experience.
A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. We want you to stay with us!
