We are looking for a Financial Business Analyst to join our International Training & Development Solutions. As a financial Business Analyst, you'll be the analytical engine behind our financial performance. Your mission: ensure cost-neutral operations and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. You will be part of the Business Development & Solution team within ITDS, and you will be working closely with very diverse colleagues as well as, key stakeholders & partners. We are an internationally diverse department focused on Learning & Development and Support solutions for our DHL Group colleagues. Professionalism and customer-centricity are our main driving forces.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial and analytical activities designed to support business growth and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
Financial Performance & EBIT Management
- Monitor and analyze costs, revenues, and margins to ensure achievement of EBIT 0 targets.
- Prepare monthly last estimates, forecasts, and variance analyses against budget and targets.
Identify risks and opportunities, proposing corrective actions where needed.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards and financial models to provide visibility on costs and revenues.
- Prepare monthly performance presentations for management, highlighting trends and insights.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned with stakeholder requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
- Lead budget review meetings with internal customers, providing transparency on consumption and financial risks.
- Act as a financial liaison between internal teams, business colleagues, and suppliers.
Support decision-making on new products and services by designing and evaluating pricing models.
Governance & Process Management
- Ensure effective financial processes, standards, and controls are in place.
- Provide structured financial data and insights to support the Financial Controller and leadership team.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting tools.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring a strong mix of analytical skills, stakeholder management, and financial expertise:
- Educational Background: University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in financial analysis, controlling, or business partnering. Experience with cost-neutral models and pricing strategies is essential.
- Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong analytical mindset, and experience with financial modeling and dashboarding.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills
- Attributes: High resilience, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
