Key about your teamAs Legal Counsel you become part of the Legal team, consisting of two seniors looking for support in the wide array of the legal work. The Legal team falls under CFO responsibility and offers advice to all levels at Keylane. This role offers a great learning and on-the-job training opportunity in a small team in an international environment. You will be based in our Utrecht office, while some travel to our other offices may be required.
Key about you- A Master’s degree in (European Union member state) law;
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably dealing with IT and privacy matters;
- Interest in contract, IT and privacy laws;
- Interest in working for the financial sector with its regulatory environment;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Willingness to learn and grow;
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English – knowing some Dutch is preferred;
- Daring to advise and taking a position, thereby balancing risks and business interests;
- Cooperative, down-to-earth and pro-active.
A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.
Each employee within Keylane must follow training on information security and irrespective to the role, basic information security responsibilities will apply.
Key about your responsibilities- Reviewing, negotiating and amending (international) sales and vendor contracts;
- Advising on data protection matters, from negotiating data processing agreement to assisting the business in drawing up data transfer analyses;
- Assisting on day-to-day corporate work;
- Supporting business with performing risk analyses and mitigation actions;
- Advising business on company’s policies;
- Following legal developments and translating these into practical instructions to board and business.
- A monthly gross salary between € 4150 and € 5800 based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience;
- 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;
- A profit share;

- Travel reimbursement: Receive a mileage allowance of €0.23 per km or an NS Business Card, which can also be used for personal travel;
