Your Tasks
As a Senior Analyst Market Intelligence, you help MediaMarkt better understand its market position and support smarter, data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your work supports senior management in steering the business and helps our country organizations translate insights into day-to-day commercial actions. You balance both technical expertise and business insight. You focus on three key areas: improving and automating our current reporting, working closely with the business to understand needs and requirements, and building scalable data products for the future together with data engineers and data scientists.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Assess, clean and automate our current reporting infrastructure
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to build scalable data products
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver insights that drive decision-making
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators
- Clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop tools and solutions that support decision-making and process improvements
Your Profile
- A Master's degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
- At least 4-6 years of experience as a data analyst with strong business exposure
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with technical specialists and senior business leaders
- Experience delivering data solutions and driving adoption across teams
- Strong knowledge of SQL and either R or Python
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker (preferred) or Power BI / Tableau
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP / BigQuery
- Fluent English; Dutch is a strong plus
