Do you want to:
- Build an international SEO framework from the ground up with full ownership, the freedom to shape your own vision, and the opportunity to create scalable structure across multiple markets?
- Lead SEO across countries and teams, working closely with local marketing, content, development and a dedicated Tech SEO specialist, while acting as the strategic link between people, tools and long-term growth?
- Work with full strategic freedom, but inside a well-established organisation with major digital ambitions, strong leadership support and high visibility?
- Step in right at the moment when SEO is finally recognised as a growth driver and take the lead in turning that into lasting impact?
Then this is your role.
Your new employer: Europe's largest consumer electronics retailer
This international retail organisation has been a household name in consumer electronics for decades. What started as a single store has grown into a true omnichannel powerhouse, with hundreds of physical locations across Europe and a rapidly expanding e-commerce business. From smartphones to washing machines, from gaming to smart home solutions, consumers rely on this brand for everything tech-related.
Its strength lies in the combination of an extensive offline network and an increasingly intelligent digital ecosystem. Convenience, availability and timing are key, both online and in-store. Innovation is central, as is the mission to make technology accessible to a wide audience.
Behind the scenes, this is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where national and international teams continuously work on improving operations, customer experience and digital performance. And right now, that digital domain holds huge potential - especially in SEO.
The company has started building a centralised international SEO team. In many countries, SEO is still underdeveloped, even though the need for organic growth is growing fast. Local teams are small, the right tools and structure are often missing, and there's no central strategy in place yet.
That's why investment is now being made, from the Dutch headquarters to build a strong foundation. As a senior SEO specialist, you'll not only get to show what you're capable of, but also help shape how multiple countries grow organically.
The role: Senior International SEO Specialist who thrives on building and connecting
In this role, you'll lead the development and rollout of the international SEO strategy for a company where SEO is still emerging. Your goal: to enable multiple countries to improve content, performance and structure, all from one centralised approach that you oversee.
You'll work closely with a wide range of teams, from local marketing and content teams to developers, product owners and your Tech SEO counterpart. Your focus is strategy, content optimisation, tooling, reporting, and laying down a solid SEO foundation that can scale across markets.
A key part of the role is stakeholder management. SEO isn't top of mind everywhere yet and that's exactly why you're here. You'll help teams understand its value, get people excited and turn ideas into action. You'll present clear plans, build strong business cases and ensure execution happens even in a fast-paced environment.
This job is for someone who takes ownership, knows how to lead people through change, and doesn't back down when things get tough. The expectations are high, from the organisation and from your manager. But if you like building something that lasts, and being part of a team that wants to win, you'll feel right at home.

- Strong stakeholder management skills in a demanding, fast-moving environment
