Job Purpose and Impact
The EMEA Tax Content Architect Lead will handle tax process, data and technology for the assigned regions. In this role, you will lead a team to partner with business and technology deployment teams, represent the tax team, partner with tax technology architects, information technology and tax professionals to develop tax reporting strategy, roll out the tax aspects of new instances of the system and improve existing system instances.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the tax expert team for technology implementations, gathering local tax requirements and applying the tax playbooks to these requirements and assisting the deployment team in designing, performing analysis, testing and assisting on the creation of trainings following an implementation.
- Partner to build, maintain and govern tax processes surrounding tax automation following newly incorporated technology implementations or upgraded instances, including maintaining a tax control framework.
- Partner with our businesses and functions to assess, monitor and govern processes through the use of technology, performing process and system monitoring to resolve issues and communicate updates.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the regional teams to ensure that the tax requirements are designed and implemented in a consistent manner across all areas within tax.
- Drive continuous improvement in process and system in collaboration with tax content architects and tax managers.
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in the enterprise resource planning systems
Good understanding of tax reporting requirements as well as the basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies
Three years of supervisory experience
Minimum of eight years of experience working within a tax environment
