For our client in Amsterdam, a Netherlands-based real estate company, we are looking for an experienced Interim Senior Accountant (m/f/x) for a temporary 4-month assignment.
Tasks and responsibilities of the Interim Senior Accountant in Amsterdam
- The role focuses on full ownership of the finance administration, month-end closing, reporting, and budget coordination
- Full responsibility for monthly closing and management reporting
- Preparation of analytical review of P&L and balance sheet movements
- Review of CAPEX, project costs, prepayments, accruals, depreciation
- Review of Intercompany commercial and financing positions
- Supervision of the Accounts Payable process, including ability to step into operational processing if required
- Preparation of payment batches for bank approval
- Monitoring of company credit cards and expense processing
- Coordination with external facility management parties regarding invoicing, service charges, and collections for owned buildings
- Support and coordinate direct and indirect tax compliance
- Prepare or review VAT returns and related reconciliations
Your Profile
- Solid experience in financial accounting and month-end closing
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
- Hands-on and capable of operating independently from day one
- Able to work collaboratively while also taking initiative
- Pragmatic, accurate, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in Dutch is a must
Offer
- A temporary assignment of 4 months
- A hourly rate of €70-75 euro based on experience
