As Sales Account Manager Germany, you will play a key role in strengthening and expanding our position in the German market. You will manage existing customer relationships while proactively developing new business opportunities across your region. With your commercial insight, customer focus, and consultative sales approach, you will help drive sustainable growth and long-term partnerships.
You will be part of our global sales team, which is divided into five regions:
NA, LATAM, NEU, SEMEA, and APAC.
Within this international setting, you will take ownership of a strategically important territory in Germany.
Your roleAs Account Manager, you are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing and prospective customers, with the goal of achieving strong and profitable sales growth within your territory. You will visit customers and prospects, identify their needs and opportunities, and translate these into suitable solutions from the full Jiffy portfolio.
In this role, you are more than a sales professional — you are a trusted advisor to your customers. You understand their challenges, think along with their business goals, and position our products and solutions in a way that creates real value. Building long-term customer relationships is at the heart of what you do.
You will work closely with the Sales Manager as well as with colleagues from product management, innovation, customer service, marketing, and other internal teams. Together, you will help ensure that customer needs are translated into effective commercial solutions, fully aligned with Jiffy’s ambition to be the service leader in sustainable plant growing solutions.
Key responsibilities- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the annual budgeting process.
- Manage, develop, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored commercial solutions.
- Promote and advise on the full Jiffy product portfolio.
- Prepare quotations in collaboration with the Sales Manager, aligned with market conditions and customer requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Actively acquire new customers and expand the client base in the region.
- Represent the company at trade fairs such as IPM, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Ensure excellent after-sales support and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records and clear, professional communication.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and contribute actively to sales meetings and commercial plans.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and customer-focused Account Manager with a passion for cultivation and sustainable solutions. Someone who proactively engages with customers, understands their needs quickly, and advises them convincingly on substrates and solutions that improve their growing performance.
You are commercially strong, confident in building relationships at different levels, and comfortable working independently in a role with a high degree of autonomy. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues to achieve shared success.
Expertise- Bachelor’s degree level, preferably in Plant Science, Commercial Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in horticulture.
- Knowledge of cultivation and substrates is a strong advantage.
- An existing network in the sector is a plus.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Experience with MS Office 365 and CRM/ERP systems.
- Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
- Persuasive, commercially driven, and a skilled negotiator.
