As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be part of the Kitchen Team with ambitious and fun colleagues, reporting directly to the Executive Chef in our open kitchen, which is open for breakfast, à la carte lunch & dinner, and banqueting events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner in collaboration with the Kitchen Team.
• Assist the Executive Chef with planning, ordering, and creating new menus.
• Manage the kitchen efficiently in the absence of the Executive Chef.
• Coach and support the Kitchen Team.
• Ensure HACCP rules and regulations are followed.
• Provide courteous, professional, and flexible service to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and occupational health and safety standards.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable working in rotating shifts and weekends.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
• Thrives in a dynamic team environment within a great hotel.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience of around 3 years as a Chef de Partie or similar position.
• Diploma in Culinary Arts or related hospitality qualification.
