SAP Data Migration & Functional Consultant (ID:3451)

Overview

As aSAP Data Migration & Functional Consultant, you will:

• Act as a Senior SAP Data Migration and Functional Consultant, owning assigned SAP data objects end-to-end.
• Lead SAP ERP data migration and data cleansing activities as part of large-scale ERP and HMI transformation programs.
• Translate business demands into state-of-the-art SAP IT solutions, primarily within SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and related platforms.
• Guide business stakeholders in defining, validating, and refining business requirements, ensuring high-quality functional outcomes.
• Design and document functional specifications, including Functional Design documents, RICEF objects, and customization requests.
• Work across SAP SD, MM, CS, and PM modules, with strong involvement in Asset Management and Configuration Management processes.
• Support system integration activities across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
• Operate within a SAFe / Agile delivery framework, contributing to continuous improvement and incremental delivery.

What You Bring to the Table

• 8–10 years of overall experience in SAP ERP, with strong focus on SAP data migration and transition projects.
• Proven experience in SAP SD or SAP MM, with exposure to SAP CS and PM.
• Strong background in discrete manufacturing industries, particularly environments with complex products and low volumes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and exposure to SAP BTP and SAP BNAC.
• Deep knowledge of Equipment Management, Equipment Hierarchies, Equipment BOMs, Asset Management, and Configuration Management.
• Solid understanding of system integration concepts within enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Experience working with RICEF developments and collaborating closely with technical teams (including ABAP).
• Practical exposure to SAFe or Agile delivery models.

You Should Possess the Ability To

• Own and drive SAP data objects through migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
• Analyze, challenge, and validate business requirements, translating them into clear functional IT specifications.
• Act as a business-facing consultant, bridging the gap between business needs and SAP solutions.
• Lead discussions, influence decisions, and support stakeholders through change.
• Coach and guide team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and team maturity.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, data quality, and ways of working.
