Senior Frontend Engineer

Tebi is creating the first Connected Restaurant Management System that makes hospitality flow. In one seamless platform, Tebi embeds sales, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and all the data that powers it, creating smooth service and intuitive insights.

Founded by Arnout Schuijff, co-founder of Adyen, and backed by €50 million in funding from Index Ventures & CapitalG, Tebi is built in service of hospitality first. Thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, and more countries soon, love running on Tebi.

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us build powerful, delightful features that empower restaurant teams. You'll be the champion of our user interfaces, drive UX improvements with our designers and implement UI best practices. You'll work closely with product and design to bring new ideas to life, ensuring every interaction is seamless, thoughtful, and beautiful.

You’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and other engineers to rapidly ship impactful features. As an early team member, you’ll also help shape our engineering culture, tooling, and technical direction.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving real user problems, and wants to help modernize an underserved industry with thoughtful, elegant software.

• Collaborate with designers and PMs to translate user needs into working, intuitive product experiences

• Own projects from concept to launch and beyond, balancing speed, quality, and scalability

• Help evolve our codebase and technical architecture as we scale

• Improve application performance and ensure high reliability and stability of the user interface

• Contribute to shared tooling, component libraries, and best practices that level up the whole team

• 8+ years of professional experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer in a product-focused environment

• Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React.js.

• Significant experience with the latest web standards, including a passion for crafting thoughtful CSS animations that enhance user experience without compromising performance.

• Good experience working with design systems (using tools like Storybook), and a deep understanding of how to maintain consistency and efficiency across large applications.

• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a feature from concept to launch and demonstrating a strong focus on detail and UX.

• A product mindset—you care about the why behind what you’re building and optimizing for user impact

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• A keen eye for detail and a sense of pride in crafting great user experiences

• Experience working in early-stage startups or small teams

• Passion for the hospitality space and interest in improving tools for small businesses
