The Business Assurance team is part of the Customer Finance division with the overall aim to protect and improve financial integrity, enhance business value and get the best customer experience. In the Business Assurance team we monitor the financial processes of all our brands and prevent customer impact on issues such as revenue loss and inflated cost issues. With our support in data driven analysis, we help other departments to do business better.
Your role is to make sure that Business Assurance operations is under control. This means the effective monitoring of allocated controls across a wide range of toolsets and analysis of big sets of data. You will oversee the financials in the whole process from customer order to invoicing and ensure that issues are rapidly detected, reported and acted upon. In this job, you will work closely with various other departments like billing and collections, controlling, marketing, technology and fraud. Integral part of this function is supporting internal and external audits where necessary.
You are not only the second line of defense, preventing and fixing issues. You are also in the driver seat to support continuous improvements in data input, automation and efficiency of business assurance process and models. You will also be involved in the risk mitigation from new technologies such as 5G, products or partnerships and feeding in requirements for new controls or toolsets.

Wat breng je mee?For this function, it is important that you are curious and a critical thinker. Your attention for details is important to make adequate comprehensive conclusions and suggestions on how to improve our products and processes as well as prevent revenue loss and inflated cost issues.
As you will work with different teams, ranging from Marketing to Technology, it is important that you have strong communication skills.
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:
- A Degree in Business Economics or Accountancy or Computer/Data Science (min HBO/bachelor degree);
- 2-5 year experience gained in a similar position
- Experience and knowledge of Excel, SQL, high volume data mining; (financial/billing software program or AI/machine learning software preferred).
- Experience in telecommunications environment would be an advantage
- Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of Dutch language would be an advantage
